The Arc of DFW Area invites disability advocates, families and allies from across the DFW area to our Spring 2025 Disability Policy Summit.
The Arc of DFW Area and The Arc of Texas share a mission of promoting and advocating for the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and empowering them to live self-determined lives.
The Arc of DFW Area invites disability advocates, families and allies from across the DFW area to our Spring 2025 Disability Policy Summit. This is a grassroots advocacy event. Members of The Arc will provide an update on current Texas and Federal legislation and policies affecting individuals with disabilities. We will share The Arc's policy priorities, our chapter's efforts to advocate for important community-based services in the current year, how we are working on long term advocacy strategies, and how you can get involved. No individual person or organization can do this alone, we need your help to build a path to a better future for Texans with disabilities.
